Jacaranda Tree // a poem

Published by katieandmiki on

an explosion of purple

a confetti of purple petals

cover the ground

a carpet of purple

a sky full of purple confetti

the trees line the street

the royal color above and below

bright purple shining

the trunk and limbs delicate

zimbabwe is blooming

the jacaranda flowers its crown

zimbabwe surprises us with a color we didn’t expect

thw greens of the bush and yellow of the grass and brick red of the earth
