Abra driver : a poem

Published by katieandmiki on

A boat taxi driver on the Dubai Creek.

His wife is in his home country

Expecting a child in four months.

He smiles proudly.

He takes our picture.

He says the food at home is fresh and delicious.

He says it is beautiful and encourages us to visit his home.

A ride across the river costs 30 US cents.

The breeze is warm.

The boat is made of wood.

Painted with bright colors.

He is from Pakistan.
